In the rock cave of Yangleshö in Nepal,
You accomplished the practice of Yangdak, Essence of Great Bliss,
Liberating all obstacles and obstructors through Vajrakilaya.
And, in this sacred place, you attained the siddhi of Mahamudra.

From the Le’u Dünma, the Prayer in Seven Chapters to Padmakara.

• • The Phurba (Ritual Dagger): Held firmly to transfix and immolate the core inner poisons of ignorance, attachment, and aversion. It represents the fierce energy of Vajrakilaya, cutting through the thickest karmic obstacles and spiritual blockages.

  • The Kapala (Skull Cup): Cradled in his hand, the skull cup holds the nectar of supreme wisdom and longevity, signifying the transmutation of mortality and worldly suffering into pure, enlightened nectar.

These staues are filled with the Yedharma and Vajrakilaya mantras and contain a large selection of holy relics from the collections of Dudjom Yeshe Dorje and Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoches. In addition, each statue contains a ringsel (relic pill) and additional blessed substances collected by me from around the Buddhist world. A short consecration ritual has also been performed, inviting the wisdom mind of Guru Padmasambhava to dwell in the statue. Thus, they are ready for immediate placement on your shrine or altar, where they can be an object of devotion for generations to come.

Interesting note: As I was preparing this description, having just finished filling, painting and consecrating the statues, it began to rain out of an almost completely blue sky. Quite amazing and auspicious!

The statue is approximately 4.25 inches high and 3 inches wide and is made from an epoxy resin composite.

Becasue the statues are filled and blessed, they should not be put on the floor or a seat, but in a place of respect.

Like our other holy objects, all funds raised through the sale of these images will go to help Denver Dzogchen (Chönyi Ling) to spread the teachings of the Vajrayana; to continue to bring teachers from Bhutan, Tibet, India and Nepal to teach in the West; to build and place stupas; to support practitioners in meditation retreat (primarily in Tibet and Kham); and especially to help spread the lineage of the enlightened intent as widely as possible.
