Ancient Recipe Chyawanprash
Out of stock
Future Alchemy is offering a limited run of Chyawanprash made by a small group of Himalayan alchemists with a 700-year history of alchemical preparation! This family controls the growth of each ingredient, and painstakingly hand-produces each batch following an ancient recipe held in the family for more than 30 generations. This ensures Chyawanprash of the highest possible quality.
Chyawanprash is a rasayana, a real superfood or tonic elixir. Our Chyawanprash is a jam-like mixture of herbs and spices, prepared in various ways according to ancient Ayurvedic medical texts. It is widely consumed in India, Nepal, and other countries of the Himalayan region. According to Ayurvedic texts it is said to relieve cough, fever, heart disease, arthritis, urinary complaints, sexual debility and diseases related to semen. It is believed to boost immunity and strength in both children and the aged, as well as those persons recovering from accidents. Other effects are thought to include increased digestive power, intelligence, memory, and a brightened complexion.
By far, this is the best Chyawanprash we have come across, no doubt due to the skillful care provided in its production. Unlike the common, mass produced, store-bought product, the flavor of this compound is not overly sweet or gritty. This product is delicious enough to be eaten on bread or toast, and can be taken up to twice daily in amounts between one teaspoon and several tablespoons.
Unfortunately we have only 25 vacuum-sealed bags (200-gram) at this time. These were hand-carried back from the Himalayas late last year. We encourage you to order now before these disappear.
Each packet contains 200 grams, vacuum sealed for freshness.
